Logitech Zone Wired
The Logitech Zone Wired headphones have a traditional design. They’re pretty small, with a narrow headband and a sleek boom microphone. They appear to be only available in a monochrome charcoal color scheme, so they should fit in nicely in an office atmosphere. The Logitech Zone Wired headset has good build quality. It has a plastic, aluminum, and silicone headband that seems quite durable. Its non-detachable audio cord is also braided and has a clip to keep it from swinging about, which are all excellent extras.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The Jabra Evolve2 65, like the Logitech Zone Wired, are relatively conventional-looking business-oriented on-ears. They have a sleek, low-profile design with a monochrome color scheme that will mix in flawlessly in an office context, yet their non-removable mic makes them fairly visible when used casually. They come in either black or beige. The Jabra Evolve2 65 is well-made. They’re largely composed of high-quality plastic and silicone, but the hinges seem like they’re made of aluminum. Overall, these headphones appear to be able to withstand a few mild bumps and dips without suffering too much damage.
COMFORT
Logitech Zone Wired
These headphones are quite comfy to wear. They’re fairly light and don’t clamp down on your head too forcefully, so wearing them for hours on end shouldn’t be an issue. Despite their on-ear design, these headphones stay on your head well. Low-intensity movements should be fine, but a few violent headshakes may cause them to fall out of your ears.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The Jabra Evolve2 65 are on-ear headphones. They’re pretty lightweight, reasonably well-padded, and don’t put too much pressure on your ears, so wearing them from 9 to 5 shouldn’t be an issue. These on-ears are quite stable. Gentle movements should keep them on your head, but anything too violent may cause them to fall off. Their wireless design minimizes the possibility of an audio cable snagging on something and yanking them off your head.
EASE OF CONTROL
Logitech Zone Wired
The Logitech Zone Wired has a simple control scheme with physical inputs. The call control button on the in-line remote can be used to answer or reject calls on Microsoft Teams while the app is running, in keeping with their intended use as dedicated office headphones. Logitech’s promotional material also lists similar compatibility with Zoom and Skype, but we don’t test this. The in-line remote also has buttons for pausing and playing music and volume control, both of which offer good levels of clicky physical feedback. Muting the boom microphone can be accomplished via a dedicated button or by simply flipping the mic up.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The Jabra Evolve2 65 has a good physical control scheme that is simple to use. There are specific volume buttons that also function as playback controls, such as holding the volume up button forwards and holding the volume down button backward. If you’re on an important call and don’t want to be interrupted, you can activate the indicator lights on both ear cups by holding down both volume buttons. Mute the microphone by flipping it up or hitting a separate mute button. Finally, a multi-function button can be used to answer, end, or reject calls. With the exception of playback operations, these headphones include speech prompts for all instructions, making it easy to recognize when you’ve made an input.
PORTABILITY
Logitech Zone Wired
The Logitech Zone Wired is not particularly portable. Their ear cups don’t swivel flat, and the headband doesn’t fold, making them difficult to transport if you don’t use the supplied pouch. These headphones are packaged in a simple polyester cloth pouch. While they should be protected against scratches, this bag does not appear to protect them from harm caused by drops or water ingress.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The portability of the Jabra Evolve2 65 is adequate. The ear cups swivel flat, but the headband does not fold to minimize its total footprint. Also, their boom microphone isn’t detachable, so it could grab onto something if you just toss them into a bag without protecting them. These headphones come with a nice padded carrying case. It’s composed of imitation leather and should keep scratches and light water exposure at bay, while larger drops may cause some harm.
PERFORMANCE
Logitech Zone Wired
Overall, the Logitech Zone Wired has a decently well-balanced sound profile. Their bass is slightly boomy, but their mids and treble are highly accurate, so speech, singers, and instruments should sound clear, detailed, and present. The Logi Tune software has a graphic EQ and audio presets, which allow for some customization.
The frequency response constancy of the Logitech Zone Wired is satisfactory. Bass is heard quite variably depending on the positioning and fit of the headphones, while mids sound fairly consistent across multiple listening sessions. Meanwhile, treble consistency is fairly good.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The default sound profile of the Jabra Evolve2 65 is pretty balanced, if a little boomy. Their slightly overemphasized bass offers a little extra thud and kick, but it may also make some mixes seem muddy. Because the mids and treble are so realistic, vocalists and instruments should be present and clear. Voices feel warm, present, and detailed when speaking over the phone. If you don’t like how these headphones sound out of the box, you can tweak them with a five-band visual EQ in their companion app.
The frequency response consistency of the Jabra Evolve2 65 is mediocre. Because bass and treble response are particularly sensitive to the positioning and fit of the headphones, you may have difficulty establishing a consistent listening experience if you have long hair or wear spectacles.
SOUND QUALITY
Logitech Zone Wired
The bass accuracy of the Logitech Zone Wired is adequate. Their average response shows noticeable boominess in some tracks due to a spike in the mid and high-bass areas. However, their bass output varies greatly depending on the positioning and fit of the headphones, so your experience may differ. These headphones have exceptional mid-range accuracy. It’s fairly flat and even over the frequency spectrum, so vocalists, lead instruments, and speech should sound clear and present with no boxiness or harshness.
The treble precision of the Logitech Zone Wired is excellent. The instruments will sound clear and detailed. A minor dip in the mid-treble range slightly dulls some sibilants, but most listeners should not detect it. These headphones have excellent peak and dip performance. A minor spike in the bass range causes some boominess, while the subsequent mid-range dip pushes vocals somewhat to the back of the mix, although this shouldn’t be too noticeable overall. Another little dip in the mid-treble range is evident, but it should not be too dull for instruments. The Logitech Zone Wired, like most closed-back headphones, has a mediocre passive soundstage. Because their on-ear design only partially interacts with the outer ear, the soundstage appears to be quite narrow, with audio emanating from the middle of your head rather than in front of you.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The Jabra Evolve2 65’s bass accuracy is adequate. There’s a long bump from mid to high bass that makes some mixes seem boomy and muddy. However, your results may vary because their bass response is greatly reliant on their posture and fit on your head. The Jabra Evolve2 65 has excellent mid-range accuracy. While the bass bump goes over into the low mids and provides some mild clutteredness, it isn’t very perceptible. The rest of the range is reproduced quite correctly, resulting in full-bodied, present, and clear speech, vocals, and lead instruments.
Their treble precision is excellent. Speech, voices, and leads are detailed and lively, with little roughness. The Jabra Evolve2 65 has good peaks and dips performance. A boost in the high-bass area causes some boominess. The dip from the low to mid-mids thins out speaking and leads, pushing them slightly back in the mix. Another fall in the low to mid-treble range dulls certain mixes’ finer nuances. The passive soundstage of the Jabra Evolve2 65 is average for closed-back headphones. Their on-ear design only interacts partially with the outer ear, which is critical in providing an outdoor speaker-like listening experience rather than causing the sound to be perceived as originating from within your head.
MICROPHONE
Logitech Zone Wired
A boom microphone is included with these headphones. The boom microphone on the Logitech Zone Wired has good recording quality. Your voice should be clean, natural, and almost completely free of distortion. The Logitech Zone Wired headset’s boom microphone does an excellent job of isolating speech from background noise. Even if you’re in a noisy or packed place, people on the other end of the line should be able to understand you.
Jabra Evolve2 65
A flippable boom microphone is included with the Jabra Evolve2 65. The boom microphone produces excellent recording quality. Your voice should be clear, natural, and reasonably full-bodied. The noise management capability of the microphone is adequate. Even if you’re phoning from a noisy or crowded area, such as a busy street, people on the other end of the line should be able to understand you. When there is a lot of loud noise around you, the volume of your voice may drop.
CONNECTIVITY
Logitech Zone Wired
These headphones are wired only and do not support Bluetooth. If you’re looking for a pair of Bluetooth-compatible professional headphones with a boom mic, consider the Jabra Evolve2 65 Wireless. The Logitech Zone Wired includes a non-detachable USB-C audio cable with an in-line remote as well as a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Because the USB-A converter increases its audio latency from 50 ms to 88 ms, you may want to use its normal connector if your computer has a USB-C port.
The Logitech Zone Wired only works with PCs for audio and microphone compatibility, as it is not compatible with PS4s when the USB audio cable is plugged into the console.
Jabra Evolve2 65
The Bluetooth connectivity of the Jabra Evolve2 65 is remarkable. They are Bluetooth 5.0 compliant and can pair with two Bluetooth devices at the same time. You cannot, however, use the provided dongle and a Bluetooth device to play audio from a console at the same time. You can only get audio from one device at a time if you connect the headphones in this manner. These headphones do not enable NFC pairing, and their latency on PCs is a touch too high to be useful for viewing movies or playing games without suffering obvious audio lag. However, their latency is substantially reduced on iOS and Android smartphones. However, it’s worth noting that different apps compensate for this audio delay, so your results may vary.
These headphones include a USB-A dongle that allows you to connect wirelessly to your computer in seconds. However, when using this dongle, latency is higher than when connected using standard Bluetooth. Another variant with a USB-C dongle that fits into suitable USB-C ports is available, but we did not receive it. When linked to your PC through Bluetooth, the Jabra Evolve2 65 supports audio and a microphone. With full compatibility, you may also utilize their USB dongle or USB cable. When utilizing the headphones and mic through wired USB, some customers have reported a reduction in audio quality.

Jabra Evolve2 65
The Jabra Evolve2 65 has excellent battery life. The promised playback time is 37 hours, but our test unit lasted well more than 60 hours on a single charge while utilizing the accompanying Bluetooth dongle.
CONCLUSION
The Logitech Zone Wired are superior office-oriented on-ear headphones to the Jabra Evolve2 65 Wireless. The Jabra are wireless headphones with a better boom microphone that can connect to two devices at the same time. However, the Logitech headphones provide a little more neutral sound profile and block out somewhat more ambient noise.
